Brought my very 1st guest to a makeover on Tuesday night and I am so excited. I have not done a skin care class yet; however have a few booked for September consindering I'm still waiting to order my products and awaiting my biz cards amoung other things I've ordered to help my business grow. I do want to share though that the woman I bought to the make over class "Kelly" friend and co-worker just text me today because she saw a Pink Cadillac just drive by her and she was just in awe! I told her that I would love for her to join me in the venture of teaming up with me and getting that Caddy together and her reply: "I'm signing up next week. I'm so excited and so is she and she's also looking foward to going to see Gloria Mayfield Banks on the 2nd. I'll keep you posted when she becomes a part of the team so that we can all welcome her.

Hello Magic. I just wanted to share that I had a $663 Dollar class this weekend and sold a roll up bag. Received a couple pre orders with cash payments for the upcoming new products. Four new customers, two of them had never tried MK and only used soap and water on their face, but after trying the product,they loved the way their skin felt they bought everything on their tray. I also had a couple of on the go appts. GET EXCITED. Have a Blessed Day.

Gloria..I am so excited that I will get to have dinner with you in Detroit Monday night. I have ten active on my team, and I went DIQ this month. I drove to Destin, FL and I could not get in last winter..it was full. But I bought the party with a purpose mug and all of your cds and dvds,etc. NOW..WOW..I get to hang out with the best and have dinner with you. My director, Ann Sherman, has never seen me this excited. I had lunch with Sherril Steinman and Judy Kawicki today. So, I hang out with the best!! Expect great things and great things will happen. I am great, I can, I am happy, I have passion, I have drive, I am persistent, I am determined, I was number four today at red jacket/director event but I have been number one in the past...in Frankenmuth at fashion show.I dream big. I have attended seminar three times in my three and a half year career. I started my business at age 67 and I am 70 now. I do ten show weeks every week from this past seminar til the next seminar. I send Ann Sherman my six most important list every day. I listen to pink blast every day.

Hello Magic Family!

I remember first reading about the 10-week challenge issued by Mary Kay to herself and the consultants in the People Management book (I believe). It's cool to see Ryan leading by example just like his grandmother. My week of commitment is August 22-28, 2010. Children are going back to school...so moms will love the pampering.

One of my favorite quotes is from the movie 'Invictus' during the scene when Matt Damon's character visits "Nelson Mandela." While instructing Matt on how to lead his team to greatness, "Mandela" says everyone "must learn to exceed their own expectations." Ryan's challenge is definitely challenging me and my MK sisters and brothers to exceed our own expectations and move toward greatness. Hi Gloria, Thank you for coming to Concord, CA, As always, you were awesome. I didn't have a guest, I just needed a shot in the arm. We have the same Birthday - So, I know that I'm destined for greatness too. I have always felt that I was destined for greatness and that God lead me to Mary Kay from the day I knew I was going to be a single parent - I just need to get out of my own way. My Mary Kay has been on the back burner way too long. I pledge today to step out of my comfort zone and "get to work". I just separated from an 11 yr marrage. It was a mistake from day one. I was just tired of the struggle of doing it on my own. Having a husband who wasn't motivated was just adding extra baggage, and taking up my time. So today, it's now or never. Praise the Lord and I Thank Him forgetting me to the 2010 Seminar - IT was Phenomenal!!! It was amazing: the training, the recognition and awards, the fellowship, fun, and food. Everyone was super friendly, willing to share, - it was easy meeting new people. Gloria's affairs were super outstanding and the company's events were fabulous. I can not go any where but up after this experience. Special Thanks to Gloria and my Director - Ann Wilson.

We just recapped Seminar at our weekly meeting and I have to say it was so stinkin exciting to relive it again!!!! "I LOVE MY LIFE" even with it's obstacles and sharp corners, and hard times I didn't think I would overcome...I have... Out of my 5 years in this business and my 4th Seminar this has got to be the one that has taken me beyond and will take me to the next level. I will see you at Leadership ladies!!!!

I am so excited about my ten show week last week and my amazing new business partner Ellie Koehn who has a master's degree and doing social work in Monroe, MI. I will do her debut soon two to
four Sat.Aug 28 and then watch my son's stock car of the hace in Flatrock and then go to my class reunion ..my two classes yesterday were awesome.

I reached out to my best Hostess and explained what I was doing and HEY THEY WANTED TO HELP~!!!! One hostess wanted to know all the info....I came very closed to finishing , but Hey what a week I had...Now it's Aug 1st... I have 2 parties schedule for today.....Thanks to all the hard work I did last week...I have an AWESOME AUGUST SET UP..... I've excepted the 10 show/parties Challenge for the month of August.....It's ON!!!!!!!
