I launched my After Thanksgiving Two Day Cyber-Sale today. One customer already replied and ordered product. I had to laugh - the sale hasn't even started yet!!

The new Miniature MK Fragrance Collection is a fabulous way to market our fragrances!!!  They will make sensational stocking stuffer gifts - individually or as a set!! It's a must have for those gals that love a variety of scents to choose from on a daily basis.  WOW!!  Since Seminar one thing I've been doing to really familiarize myself with the fragrances is to wear a different Mary Kay fragrance each day.  I have my favorites, but I'm finding that by doing this I'm getting out of my fragrance rut & it's a great way to really test out the variety.  It also reminds me the importance of knowing my product line & being my own best customer!!  In the long run I believe this one little item will really boost our fragrance sales!!

Had two callers on the line yesterday for marketing and did a personal interview today with another women....just planting seeds!!

Also had a great show last night with 5 women, 2 new bookings, 5 referrals and invited a guest to meeting..oh and $200 in sales....

27 faces in!!

My crazy long day Mini-Hops Wednesdays are turning into a good Mary Kay day.  Last Wed I sold $103 to a coworker for the holidays.  Today a gal ordered off my Gift Ideas List $162 worth of gifts.  Also got a foundation reorder there too for a $176 day and 2 other gals want me to see some holiday items on Monday at 1:00!!

Finally had a couple of hours of down time today.  It's been super busy since last Thursday - but fun Mary Kay busy.  Had another stop by shopper today ($40), a lady from my network group and another one coming on Thursday.  Now for more follow up customer calls for Holiday sales!!  It sure helped ordering my products early this year.  I felt more ready.

Diane, what a great explanation for taxes and use of the sales slip! 

I just finished a show with 7 women and 5 had consultants....I booked an interview, but no new shows. 

I love this business.  Those women with consultants understood that I would not be servicing them and why.  We are so blessed to have a company that works and lives by the Golden Rule and I was so proud to turn them back to their consultants. 
These ladies hadn't had facials in years!!  (note to self :)  They loved the products had a ton of questions about why and what.  I feel so blessed that we have the training we do so I could answer their questions.

Help!! The new sales slips do not have a Bank copy. What do you do now to keep track of your sales for the tax man? Yes, there are two customer copies, but I often use that second copy for delivery if I owe product. I do not like this one bit!!

Thanks for reminding me - again - to sell to the people who I give money to.....I went to the eye dr. and talked to the assistant about how dry her hands get from washing them all the time. I gave her a Look Book (which I had in my purse) and will mail her a sample of Extra Emollient Night Cream today. I'm going to stock some samples and start to carry those with me too.

I had my Holiday Open House on Friday - 12 fabulous women came by and purchased over $700 worth of products! They didn't eat much though - good thing my husband likes home-baked treats! smiley smile
I have two women looking forward to participating in the marketing calls on Wednesday - one at 12:30pm and one at 9:00pm!

I hope that all of you had wonderful Holiday Open houses over the weekend. The Minnesota weather did cooperate, for a while.

I have an unusual request. I have a customer that the foundation will not stay on her. She has to reapply the medium coverage. We are thinking that she has really dry skin, so we are trying to work on moisturizing and seeing if that improves the staying power of the foundation.

Any suggestions? I've never heard of this happening.

It is so nice to hear all the ideas everyone shares.  I am using many of them for my open house this weekend.  Yesterday was my long day working at the gymnastics gym but a coworker wanted to see a few MK gift ideas.  I brought a tote bag of things and she ordered 6 items, for 4 seperate gifts and a satin hands for herself, totalling $103!

Place these "Gas Gloves" in the glove box of your car.  Put these on instead of your "good g;oves" when you fill up with gas.  The hand cream will keep your hands soft and smooth all winter long.

Hi everyone!  I'm looking for a cute way to phrase the card for holiday "gas gloves".  Any ideas?  I looked all over and didn't see them online. 
Only two weeks to my 1st stop-n-shop!  I'm very excited to see how it turns out.  I also have an oppotunity to have a MK table at someone else's stop-n-shop.  She is having multiple independent consultants from other direct sales companies in her home.  Isn't that a smart idea?  I'll let you know how this experiment goes!

So fun to see Lisa Fey at the meeting last night!  Exciting to hear that we are #2 in the Diamond Division/first quarter!!!  In the last Applause Magazine, Marsha was #1 Diamond Commissions and our unit was #2 for the Diamond units.  Cynthea Herried was in the seminar information for Court of Sales.  Who Hoo!!!!

$1100 Nov Open House (22 orders @$50), 6 faces per week/facial or parties (@$50 ea) = $1800, 5 people per week/stop & shop (@$30 ea) = $900, Dec Last Min Open House or similar $500, 6 Husbands (@$75 ea) = $450.

Marsha, sorry I have been out of touch. My younger brother had been extremely ill in the ICU for approx 2 weeks. He died on November 2. His Funeral is November 10. I am making the arrangements.  Life still goes on.  My Holiday open house is November 8 I always hold it the 1 or 2ond week of November.  I have sent out 100 invitations. I am looking for at least half to order.  I will be following up via phone for those who do not come.  My goal is $1500 in sales for the open house.  Have 1 party bookednow working on getting 4 more appointment before the week is out. I will be calling my team members to touch base with them and their holiday goals. I was on you holiday call but got there late so did not leave my name.

Forgot my phone at home while I was out and had $145 in sales through text messaging when I got home! It was a student in my small group ordering her products but then added $100 for her mom's birthday (Her dad asked what I thought his wife would like a couple days before and they ordered it all)!!

Marsha -- I just love you!!! I can remember when we first met on my first Top Director Trip. You were so sweet and loaned me outfits to wear. :-)  Remember my suitcase never made it on the Ship!!!

Sign up for Winter PCP, 2 Stop-n-shops (one in Nov & 1 early Dec), 1 last minute shopper sale at my home on 12/23, 10 classes (that's 1-2/wk), Personal Shopper Service 50 people (I created a half page flyer to hand out with my business card). 

My plan for open houses without a bunch of inventory - package everything up cute and seasonal.  Make it really irresistable! Take orders and hand out gift certifcates for $10 to each person who orders that day.  Any other tips would be appreciated.  What has worked for you?

I just sold a Serum+C at my Bible Study when a friend noticed my hand.  Now I need to make a habit of using the Even Complexion Essence to fade the brown spots.

Hi Marsha, Here are the things I am going to work on between now and Christmas: 10 husbands / boyfriends, 7 Holiday coffees or gift shows, 1 beauty show per week for 10 weeks, Customer service and PCP follow up, Last Minute gifts. My main focus will be Holiday coffees because I am not holding an open house this year!

So I finally started using the Replenishing Serum +C.  It has only been 2 days but I cannot believe how great my skin feels and looks! And I have to say I love the packaging, too - I'm a sucker for "pretty". ;) 
Besides, how could I not be using it after seeing with my own eyes Robin's hands and Denise's face and their amazing results!

Where did the summer go? I have missed the unitnet, but have not had internet since the last of September and all of October!  I think I am finally caught up on the e-mails, orders and questions!  Thank you Marsha for the wonderful Holiday ideas last night on our conference call and good talking with my Seminar friends prior to the conference.  I am so excited about the Holiday Season!  My goals terrify me, but I have planned it out and know that it is very possible to achieve!!!

I took the gingerspice and peppermint cream sets with me today and had a few people tell me which one they liked best.  It was fun.  So far peppermint cream is ahead.  Also booked a holiday stop and shop with a friend and her coworkers at an office over a lunch hour.

Great tips on holiday sales last night!  We moved this summer so the stop-n-shop idea will be a great way to invite people into my new home.  I can't wait to decorate for the holidays.
