In my experience, May, August and December (school ending, school starting, and Christmas) tend to be months with much change, many activities, and many demands on our time ......... and focus on MK goals can be more challenging. I am reminded of scripture about not having a "divided mind!" I encourage you to pick ONLY ONE MK FOCUS for the rest of May! Don't let your mind be divided.

Mary Kay's ANNIVERSARY is September 13th - her BIRTHDAY is May 12th ? what one of my consultants is doing...so we have all adopted it - is to go for a thousand $ day - now some of you with low customer numbers can STILL get out and DO this by ASKING present customers or FAMILY ( come on let's get creative here!!!) for.. What a concept -- referrals - this would boost your business anyway - then send out a message saying you are challenging yourself to do $1000 in sales that day (May 12th - ALLLLLL day 24 hours ladies - turn off the ringer at night!!!) and that 20% ( that's what we are doing! ) is going to the Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation for Cancer Research and Domestic Violence support! Oh Gosh How do you DO this - well - usually you offer discounts, but NOW this time we are asking that whatever discount you usually would have gotten be given to the Foundation - they can even make out a check for it and YOU mail it in!!!! We are each doing different "goodies" for our customers - for ME I am offering out of a basket a goodie for anyone who orders up to $39! - as soon as they order $40 of product they get to choose out of a "limited edition" basket of a certain value - $6and up - $50 order gets more - $75, and $100 get more!!! OR if you do not have lots of former edition items - for me it is - $40 gets $7 of buying "power" ( i.e. if they want a Lip Outliner Pencil they can get it for $8, because they already spent $40!( Am I clear?) $50 gets $15 of buying power - $100 gets $35 of buying power! I also tell people it doesn't HAVE to be an order JUST from them! THEY can get the goodie! if they get the orders!!!!! and GIVE ME the names Emails and addresses - ok! bless you all!
