| LYNN, HAVE A QUICK QUESTION HOPE YOU CAN HELP. MY WORK IS HAVING A CRAFT FAIR IN NOV AND I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE SOME OF THE MARY KAY PRODUCTS THERE. IS THIS A THING THAT CAN BE DONE? I WAS THINKING OF MAKING UP SOME BASKETS AND POSSIBLY HAVING SOME ITEMS TO TRY AVAILABLE ON A TABLE AND HOPEFULLY GET SOME SALES OR BOOKINGS. IS THIS OKAY TO DO OR NOT? WASN'T SURE SO THOUGHT I WOULD ASK BEFORE GOING TO FAR OUT. HAVE ASKED IF THEY WOULD ALLOW THIS AND SHE IS CHECKING INTO THIS TO SEE IF I CAN DO UP A DISPLAY. What you will want to do is have a display and a signup for people to win a basket of product or gift certificates. Everyone who signs up will get a free facial, makeover, or manicure. You may want to give away several $10 Gift Certificates in your drawing that's what I do. Make sure your sign up slips have a place where they can put whether or not they already have a MK Consultant. You don't want to ever call other people's customers. They can win the drawing, but you do not book them or sell them product. Just a few words of caution,... We cannot legally demonstrate or sell product at a booth. You can distribute samples. I sure don't want you to get in trouble, or jeopardize your position. Please read all the information at www.marykayintouch.com in the "Tax and Legal" link on the drop down menu. I know you'll get tons of names, and you will do it legally and the Mary Kay Way! The booklet actually gives you many good suggestions on things you can do to boost your business! I am leaving for several trips in the next few weeks, and my son's wedding is in October, but I will try to get some Booth information in the Training Center at www.unitnet.com/lgleason before Novemember for you.
