Getting your Appointments to hold Question.. have you done everything you are supposed to do to be sure that your appointments hold? FROM MARSHA a.) Preprofile to establish a bond and trust , and in the process be sure to ask her what her favorite color of clothing is.. and ask her to wear it that day. ..(that creates a picture in her mind of her actually Holding the appointment ) b.) send a confirmation note as soon as you have it booked!! c.) tell her.. This is a career with me, for some people it's a hobby.. but for me .. it's a career. I will be there rain, shine sleet or snow .. can I excpect the same of you..Great I can't wait! d.) always tell her.. "I will line up my sitter right away, or I will tell my husband and children I am not free for them at that time, or I will be sure and not accept any other appointments at that time.. it is JUST for YOU!" e.) Clearly visualize yourself holding the appointment. "WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT.. YOU BRING ABOUT!" f.) many consultants like to offer a gift for holding the appointment on the day and time it is set.. (could be a sample hand cream for her purse. I don't know what I would do without mine!) That way they won't change around! g.) If she calls to change the date ..because it isn't great for her friends. I still remind her that I am really coming for her.. let's just try to get 1 or 2 there. ..but NO MATTER WHAT.. I will be there for you!! ..(when she finds out you really are coming... she will many times get busy and get her friends to come) (chances are very good that if she changes the date.. you will go thru the same thing a few weeks later. Most often .. but not always.. procrastnation is a habit!!.. so by changing the date.. you are really just setting yourself up for another frustration.) **I have always felt that if I have done everything I was supposed to do .. then it isn't my fault if it doesn't hold! If I did not do the things I was supposed to do.. then I will take the blame!! ...BE SURE THAT IF SHE BOOKED FOR A CLASSES.. RATHER THAN FOR A FACIAL .. THAT YOU DID YOUR HOSTESS COACHING!! .. it is IMPERATIVE to teach her how to invite her friends.. I always give her the exact words to say!! (You will find this farther down on the training center) DREAM MONTH.. BOOK 10 CLASSES ..AND HOLD 10 CLASSES REALITY MONTH.. BOOK 10 CLASSES.. HOLD 6 CLASSES. (OVERBOOK!!..YOU CAN'T CONTROL PEOPLE...BUT YOU CAN CONTROL YOUR EFFORTS TO SCHEDULE THE APPOINTMENTS) REALITY DREAM MONTH..BOOK 16 CLASSES.. HOLD 10 CLASSES!! **********************************************************************
