Concept: Offer to everyone - purchase their travel roll up and get a gift certificate redeemable in July for $200 of Mary Kay!!! When they share their checkup appt./color makeover with 3 of their Friends! Appointments must be held in July! That gives you lots of bookings for July!!! As you read on, realize that all you have to sell at your July class is $100 to break even for the $200 give away!

Scripts:
To call someone who has tried MK recently with you but did not purchase the roll up:

"Hey ________, This is ---------- with Mary Kay. I am sooooo excited, do you have a quick minute? June wraps up our end of year and because we are celebrating our Company's __th Anniversary, my unit has a huge retail sales goal and so we are making an outrageous offer to our customers. Remember that TRAVEL ROLL UP bag I showed at _________'s party? Well, if you purchase your ROLL UP bag in June, I will give you a $200 gift certificate to be redeemed at your color appointment in July when you share it with at least 3 of your girlfriends who do not have a MK beauty consultant! $200 more of what ever is in my inventory is yours for FREE! What do you think? Is there any reason why you wouldn't want to be a part of our Victory AND get your roll up and $200 more of your favorite MK products?" Set the time for delivery and then ask for referrals. " ______ who do you know who might also like to take me up on this offer today? Someone who cares about her appearance, someone who likes to shop......I'll give you an additional free lipstick for anyone you recommend who also purchases the roll up! She can live anywhere in the U.S. Who comes to mind?"

Script to Call the friend
"Hello ____________! This is --------------and we have a mutual friend in ------------------and I just hung up from speaking with her and she recommended you as a sharp woman who likes to shop, is that true? Do you have a really quick second? ---------is a great customer and has just purchased one of our FILLED Travel roll ups which is a head to toe pamper. Because this is our end of year in
Mary Kay and we are working on a really big goal for Seminar, I would love to drop by and show you this roll up and tell you how it works. It would take about 5 minutes. Either way, for your time, I'll let you pick an eye shadow from my goodie basket! Which would be better for you......."
If her answer to the Travel Roll up is
'No, not now', then work the below script for a $50 purchase. And then ask for referrals again as that script suggests.

Script at a SCC or BUSINESS debut
During your SCC close, make the offer to EVERY guest there! Do the Travel roll up close showing each set... " And for
JUNE ONLY, when you purchase your TRAVEL roll up tonight and pay in full---mc/ visa/ discover/ check or cash, I will also give you a $200 gift certificate to redeem in July when you hold your Color Apt. and share it w/ at least 3 sharp adult friends!!! So, write down on your profile card the answer to, if money were no problem, which collection would you prefer to go home with tonight..."

Script repeated for the list of 20 customers asking to purchase $50 (from Angie O-Vernella)

Hi,_____________this is Angie your Mary Kay consultant and I am calling to let you know that Mary Kay is having an end of the year sale because our year ends June 30th. Our unit is on target to be recognized as a top selling unit and we are all calling our special customers to ask them to help us out by re-ordering at least $50 in product to help us reach that goal. Is there anything you are running low on or anything new you would like to try? We have new SPA products coming out on the 15th and I could pre-order those for you. (Describe briefly and Wait for answer) Great. I?ll bring that to you Monday at your job! And ___________, if you could give me the names and numbers of 3 of your friends that I could call with an offer to purchase 2 lipsticks, I?ll give you an extra gift for each one who places an order, how does that sound? (When you take the order to her, let her pick a item from your basket for each of her friends who ordered)*

When you call the leads your customers give you say this:
Hi_____________, this is Angie and I am Jane Brown's Mary Kay consultant and she gave me your name as one of her sharpest friends who she thought might help me out with a lipstick challenge our unit is having. We are ending our Mary Kay year in June and we are offering a special to people who help us by purchasing 2 lipsticks or $25 in other Mary Kay products; Do you use Mary Kay at all? (wait for answer) Tell her you are having a lipstick special , if she buys 2 she gets the third free! OR, if she spends at least $25 in other products, let her pick a gift from your basket when you deliver it. [OF COURSE, it goes w/o saying---book her for a facial/class and let her know about your $200 voucher for July!
