I was wondering, the $225 wholesale we need to do in order to stay active, how often do we have to do that and does it have to be one big order or is it cumulative -- multiple orders adding up to the $225 within the required time period? When I place a $225 order am I active for 90 days?
"Active" is a term for your Consultant status.

People who are ordering less frequently, are probably not actively working their business and selling product. So to maintainthe best customer service andcut costs... "Inactive" Consultants do not get referrals from the Company, their name is taken out of the Consultant locator online, and they do not recieve recruiting commissions.

After a period of five months without ordering,their status changes to "Terminated" andthey are no longer mailed an Applause magazine, their personal website is suspended, they permanently lose any personal recruits, they don't count towards their Team's andUnit's size,and they cannot register for Company events.

But as long as it has been less than twelve months since their last $225+ order they can place a 50% order and be reinstated to Active.


$225 wholesale section 1 (within one Calendar month)everythree calendarmonthskeeps you Active, elligible for Recruiting Commissions and referrals from the Company, and keeps your name in the Consultant Locator."Three months"does not meanninety days, it meansthree calendar months - i.e. Jan, Feb, Mar. So the month you place your order is month one (even if you place the order on the last day of the month).You are active that month and the next two calendar months. In other words, when you place your order January 31st you are considered "Active" in January, February, and March. April 1st you will be listed as "Inactive" if you haven't ordered a total of$225 wholesalein February or March.

While you are "Active" (your status is listed as A1, A2, or A3 on My Business) you can place smaller orders that add up to $225 wholesale in one calendar month (not 30 days... January, February, March, April, etc.)and your status will start over as A1. So.... while you are Active you don't have to place one $225 wholesale order to stay Active or recieve a 50% discount.

Remember though... if you are wanting to make money... you do not want to be placing several small orders. It costs you time and money!Ordering and unpacking an ordertakes two to three hours and costs you $9.35 in shipping... If youorder weekly you are spending 12 to 15 hours and $37 to $47 in a month ordering! If you order ONCE a month you are spending 2 to 3 hours and $9.35 a month!

Once you are "Inactive" (your status is listed on My Business as I1, I2, I3,or T)then you must place a $225 wholesale order all at once to get a 50% discount. When you do place a $225 order you will be Active again (A1). If you place an order that is less that $450 retail ($225 wholesale) when you are not Active, you will NOT get any discount, the Company will charge you full price for your order!

$225 every 5 months keeps you on the Company Mailing List and assures you maintain your personal Recruits. But for two months you would not get a recruiting commission or be in the Consultant Locator.

$225 every 12 months keeps you elligible for a 50% discount. But you will be considered "a Former Consultant", you can not register for Company events,your Personal Website will be suspended, you willpermanently lose any personal Team Members,and youwill not recievean Applause magazine orshow up on your Recruiter's list of Team Members or in our Unit's numbers after your fifth month of non ordering.

Let's saya Consultantplaces a $225+ wholesale order in January and never orders again, her status will be as follows:
Jan -A1 (Active first month)
Feb -A2 (Active second month)
Mar -A3 (Active third month)
Apr -I1 (Inactive first month) No recruiting commissions, no referrals, not in Consultant locator, must placeone $225+ wholesale order to get a 50% discount (no discount givenon smaller orders).
May -I2 (Inactive second month)
Jun -13 (Inactive third mont)
Jul -T1 (Terminated first month) No Applause Magazine, Personal Website suspended, cannot register for Company events, permanently loses personal Team Members, no longer counts as a member of Recruiter's Team or Unit.
Aug - T2 (Terminated second month)
Sep - T3 (Terminated third month)
Oct - T4 (Terminated fourth month)
Nov - T5 (Terminated fifth month)
Dec - T6 (Terminated sixt month)
Jan - Must order a new starter kit or update kit and sign a new agreement in order to place a discounted order.

A Beauty Consultant is considered active in the month a minimum $225 wholesale Section 1 product order is received by the Company and in the following two calendar months.

Activity status, career status and compensation will be based on Independent Beauty Consultant Agreements and wholesale orders received by the Company by the end of the business day on the last working day of the month.

An Independent Beauty Consultant is an independent contractor, not an employee of the Company and will not be treated as an employee for federal tax purposes or otherwise.

Consultant Activity Notification Schedule

Month Status Order

JAN (A1) $225 First month of active status.

FEB (A2) Second month of active status if no order is received by month-end business close. First Non-Ordering Month.

MAR (A3) Third month of active status if no order is received by month-end business close. Second Non-Ordering Month.

APR (I1) First month of inactive status if no order is received by month-end business close. Third Non-Ordering Month. Must have order in this month to be considered active.(I1) Indicates that Consultant has not ordered in prior two months and must place a minimum $225 wholesale Section 1 order with the Company this month to remain active (first month of inactive status).

MAY (I2) Second month of inactive status if no order is received by month-end business close. Fourth Non-Ordering Month. Company notice mailed mid-month. (I2) Indicates second month of inactive status.

JUN (I3) Third month of inactive status if no order is received by month-end business close. Fifth Non-Ordering Month. Must have order in this month to remain on Company mailing list. (I3) Indicates third month of inactive status.

JUL (T) Automatic reinstatement month. If no order is received by month-end business close, personal team members will be lost. Sixth Non-Ordering Month. Name is deleted from Company mailing list and placed on former Consultant list.(T) Indicates former Consultant status and removal from the Company mailing list.

New team members with no order on record to meet the $225 wholesale Section 1 requirement would show no indicator and would not be considered active.
