What is a Star Consultant?

You have the Quarterly Planner that the Company sent you that explains everything about it in great detail, with pages and pages of pictures of all the fantastic prizes, awards and recognition.  If you've misplaced it you can go to www.marykayintouch.com and in the drop down menu on the left you will find "contests" then you can click on:

And it will show you the same information that is in the planner online!  Being a Star Consultant is very prestigious and shows who is really working her business and taking it seriously.  Stars earn cars and move up the career path, as well as every other honor in MK... arena seating, Seminar stage, luncheons, prizes, etc.  Everything starts with selling the product!  You can check how far you are from your Sapphire star on InTouch on the right hand side: "View My Personal Reports"

To be a Sapphire Star Consultant (which is the lowest star... they go up from there to Ruby, Diamond, & Emerald is the highest!) you need to order $1800 wholesale section 1 product in one quarter. 
This Quarter goes 3/16-6/15. 

The first Star most people get is for their inventory, because they are stocking product to have on hand.  After that we earn our stars...
$1800 wholesale = $3600 Retail
$3600 Retail divided by 3 months = $1200 Retail a month
$1200 Retail divided by 4 weeks = $300 a week in sales!  That's all!  Only 2 "average" classes a week = Star Consultant

Ruby Stars average $400 a week in sales = $2400 a Qtr wholesale
Diamond Stars average $500 a week in sales = $3000 a Qtr wholesale
Emerald Stars average $600 a week in sales = $3600 a Qtr wholesale

Are you going to local training?  That's where you would really learn about all the basic information like this!  It's so much better to get things explained in person!

Ask your Recruiter to show you her ladder, stars, and some of the prizes she has won!  I'm sure she has been a Star Consultant EVERY Quarter she's been in MK!  Anyway the quarter ends 6/15... I know you can do it!
