10 Steps To Get You Organized
Step One    Up at 6 a.m. every day, exercise, devotions, showered, dressed with shoes on by 8 a.m. . . . Deal?

Step Two - (I can work efficiently from this in my office, on the road, in the family room with John or from my bed:)
Put together a note book . . . 3 ringed will do with pockets in the front and back.  If you want to be fancy, go to Staples and get one that closes with a zipper with the handles on the zipper side.

Step Three -    Put your Quarterly planner in it.

Step Four    In the front pocket, put your current Applause magazine, your current Unit Newsletter, your current National Area newsletter and the most recent Director's Memo.

Step Five    In the back pocket, put several Look Books, recruiting brochures, Drive Success cards (the ones with the 3 cars on the front and the step-by-step Marketing Plan on the back), the current Star Brochure, the new Seminar Prize brochure and the Star Director brochure.

Step Six -    In a plastic sleeve at the back, put postcards, address labels and stamps so that you can write out postcards and mail them while you are out and about or waiting somewhere.

Step Seven    In a plastic sheet protector at the very front of your notebook, put your typed out list of affirmations (big and bold enough that you can read and recite easily and frequently) . . . also put a picture of your goal (the Pink Cadillac) on that same page with the date (12/31/03) by which time you will have qualified for it.  (If you don't have affirmations already, start by listing things you are dissatisfied about on a sheet of paper and turn each one into an "already fixed" sentence, such as, "I am trim, firm and fit and feel so good wearing my size 10 National St. John." (Guess you can tell whose affirmation that belongs t) . . . on the back of this sheet, I have favorite family photos to comfort me whenever, make me smile and remind me "why" I do what I d)

Step Eight    I use the thinnest spiral 8 1/2 x 11" binder I can find to work from on a daily basis and keep it right in my Planning Notebook.

EVERY night before going to bed, I update my list on a fresh page of the spiral with everyone I want to call the next day, everyone I want to send a note to, everything I need to do, errands to run, groceries to buy, etc. . . . WITH phone numbers!  (This one seemingly little step will keep you on track more:)

Step Nine    In your notebook, keep a list of your Unit addresses, phone numbers, etc. and other frequently called numbers.  This way you can take advantage of those fleeting minutes during the day and multi task to feel accomplished and efficient.

Step Ten    I have other dividers in my notebook, too, such as:
Announcements - info about promotions, etc.
        Meetings - Event flyers, etc.
Moving Up - Info Sheets on the Consultants who want more and are "playing ball with me" and working for what they want to remind me of conversations I have with them.
Printout - I keep a copy of Order Status or Printouts, DIQ printouts, On-Target Star printout, New Consultant Printout, etc. so that when I am away from my computer, I can still access
info I might need for a call or a card.
Inspiration - I keep things in this section that might be used for an inspirational opening or closing, my introduction for when I travel, Oaths to be used at events, some educational
                          sheets to train from, etc.
