MARY KAY COSMETICS MARKETING PLAN


AVENUES OF INCOME


1.) On The Face-Classes and Facials.  On  The Go.  On Paper.  Online. 
On With The Show.
 
All 50% Commission.
This is the highest direct sales commission paid in the United States.

Sales at an average class with 4-6 guests average approximately $200.
Sales at a facial with 1-2 people average approximately $85.


2.) Reorders-50% Commission.
Our product is consumable, like bread or milk, so reorders become a large part of our income. An average skin care customer will reorder about $157 each year.


3.) Dovetail (Substitution)-15% Commission.
When a consultant is unable to hold a skin care class, another Consultant will teach the class and pay the Consultant who booked the class a 15% dovetail fee.

 4.)   Team Building-Love Check
          4% Commission for 1 to 4 more active recruits
          9% Commission for 5 or more active recruits.
        13% Commission when 5 or more active recruits place minimum $200 wholesale
         order during one month (plus your own $600 wholesale order).
****This commission is paid directly from Mary Kay Corporate to the Consultant in the form of a bonus check. It is never taken out of the new recruits pocket. This continues to be paid on a month-to-month basis for as long as the recruit and recruiter are active (order $200 wholesale once every three months) with the company.


 5) VIP Car Program- Red  Pontiac Grand Am (Qualified VIP has use of     
             the car and  The company pays the insurance). 

  6.)     Directorship-13% Commission
This commission is paid monthly to the Unit Sales Director from the company in the form of a commission check. This check is based on the units wholesale production. Directors may also qualify for unit volume bonuses (from $500-$5000 per month) and unit recruiting bonuses.

1.) Automotive Cost- Deduct mileage for business related trips.
2.)
Telephone- Long Distance telephone calls-100% deductible.
3.) Entertainment & Travel- A portion may be deducted when used primarily for your Mary Kay business.
4.) Skin Care Class Supplies- Washcloths, cotton balls, table cloths, beauty showcase, etc.
5.) Office Supplies- Printing, postage, paper, pens, subscriptions, etc.
