Could you use a solid 10 - 20 new leads doing this for 2 hours 1 day a week?

This idea is from Kim Cowdell.  I get 4 dz roses at Sam's for $30 and then go out to businesses with a bag of registrations slips and pens. I usually take a buddy with me.  " Hi, We are with Mary Kay and we are honoring professional working women today by giving you a rose.  Which color would you like?  WE are also doing a drawing for gift certificates and free products.  If you don't have a consultant you can sign up."  I always get about 30 leads in 2 hours in the afternoon.  I ask for day phone so I can connect with people.  I then call and say "This is Julie with MK.  Do you remember me ?  Yes I'm the lady who brought you the Rose.  Did Your rose make it home or did you keep it at work?  Well guess what!  I did my drawing and you were one of the winners.  Do you want to knew what you won?  You won $------ in free product and a free pampering session.  I'm calling to see when we can get together so you can pick out your free goodies.  What is better for you......" 
 
 Kim Cowdell books 10 -15 faces from these   I will book these for the women right after work at my home or at our Unit events.  I ignore all no soliciting signs and go in with my vase of roses and I'm always treated like Santa Claus.  Be really fast ...do not stand around and chat.  You don't want to take people's work time.  I like to go into small businesses and professional buildings where I'm going to meet target market women.   It's fun and I have met some great people had great sales and recruits.
