"You're Born an Original Don't Die a Copy"

Never give up on what you know you really should do. The person with big dreams is more powerful than the person with all the facts. Remember, overnight success takes about ten years. The "man of the hour" spent many days and nights getting there. Consider the man who said, "My overnight success was the longest night of my life."  Earl Nightingale said, "A young man once asked a great and famous older man, 'How can I make a name for myself in the world and become successful?' The great and famous older man replied: 'You have only to decide upon what it is you want and then stay with it, never deviating from your course no matter how long it takes, or how rough the road, until you have accomplished it." Winners simply do what losers don't want to do. Success is largely a matter of holding on after others have let go. In the confrontation between the stream and the rock, the stream always wins - no through strength but  through perseverance. Christopher Morley said,  "Big shots are only little shots that kept shooting." Persistence is simply enjoying the distance between the fulfillment of God's promises. Judas was an example of someone who started the good fight of faith but lacked persistence. scary!) Many of the world's great failures did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up. Stopping at third base adds no more score than striking out. We rate success by what people finish, not by what they start. People do not fail, they just quit too easily. God won't give up on you!! Don't give up on God!! "For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor death, nor life, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord" Romans 8:38-39).  Your persistence is proof you have not yet been defeated. Mike Murdock says, "You have no right to anything you have not pursued. For the proof of desire is in the pursuit." So, "Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed" (Proverbs 16:3 NIV). Life holds no greater wealth than that of steadfast  commitment. It cannot be robbed from you. Only you can lose it by your will. The destiny of the diligent is to stand in the company of leaders. "Seest thou a man diligent in his business? He shall stand before kings" (Proverbs > 22:29). When faithfulness is most difficult, it is most necessary, because  trying times are no time to quit trying.

The secret of success is to start from scratch and keep on scratching!
