 SECRETS OF A SUCCESSFUL
10 Party WEEK!!!

1.  Make the Decision that you WILL hold the 10-show week NO MATTER WHAT!  This can never be an "I'll try" because without fail half of your scheduled bookings will fall apart.  You have to be willing to "pull them in off the street" if you need to, and you will!!!!  Have tons of  back-up plans in mind.   Select your dates!
 
2.  Get your car washed, fill it with gas, hair cut/colored, nails done, whatever you need to do to be ready for the week looking your best.  Have clothes, shoes and everything ready beforeyou begin your week. Food for your family in the fridge or freezer, babysitters lined up and your husband in the loop - so he knows what to expect this week  (and what's in it for him)!
 
3.  Order enough supplies, buy extra wash cloths so you don't have to wash any before a show, have enough sales slips, profiles, beauty books, bags.  Get a lot of pens.
 
4.  Put together at least 15 Hostess Packets before you start your week, and bring 3 or 4 to each show.
 
5.  Put together at least 15 recruiting packets to hand out to your prospects that you meet that week.
 
6.  When booking your hostesses LET THEM KNOW YOU'RE IN A SPECIAL CONTEST TO HOLD 10 SHOWS DURING THE WEEK OF ____________.  Then write a note immediately thanking them again for helping you during this special week and very important contest!!!  Make sure they know how important this week is!  COACH THEM IN PERSON WITH THE HOSTESS X-TRAVAGANZA - or what ever hostess plan you are using!!!!!
 
7.  Have the product you will need for on the spot delivery of at least the Basic Skin Care!  If you can, build your inventory to FULL PROFIT BASIS with skin care and color for at least 20 women! Take a good look at your inventory, and order what you'll need.  Are you going to do all spa parties, all skin care, all color cosmetics parties, or a mix of all of them?  Be as ready as possible!
 
8.  If you start selling out of products or can see you're going to be running low, place an order during the week if need be!!!  One of the most important benefits of the 10 Show Week is the momentum it builds!  You want to keep that product coming in so that you can keep right on going at your preferred pace because you are stocked enough to do it!!!!
 
9.  If you have to order some products that you don't have for customers, do it IMMEDIATELY!!!  Don't wait for a larger order later in the week.  It won't pay in the long run.  If your customer has to wait more than just a few days to a week for her product you will have lost credibility and the potential for a good reorder customer and future hostess.   Then when that order comes in, send it off to your customer IMMEDIATELY!!  Yes, it's going to cost you postage to get it to you and more postage to get it out to her, but you may save a customer!!!  We're not a "one-time-buy" service, and our continued success depends on our reorder business. 
 
10.  The more product you have on hand at the beginning of your week the more money you will make!!  *We don't hold back because we're running low...*We're into abundance thinking for our customers because we have plenty for them...*We don't have to pay for small orders and then pay again to mail it to them.....*We build credibility with our new customers because of our on-the-spot delivery and they stay with you!!!
 
11.  Consider the Gift with purchase for all customers who purchase at least $40 from you at the shows (it can be a sample hand cream - it doesn't have to be the pcp gift].    That would give you at least $200 in sales at the low shows with 5 guests. 
 
12. Be aware that your bookings this week will set you up for a FABULOUS FALL... and the new Customer Makeover Contest -- so, develop your booking skills right at each party - so that you book 2 from each event (1 to replace the party your holding, and 2 to cover postponements!)
 
13.  Plan a CELEBRATION for yourself after reaching this beautiful goal!!!  What do you want to do to celebrate???  And BE SURE to take 2 solid days off,  when you've completed your 10-Show Week!   And be ready to roll with the momentum of the bookings for September and October!   I know you can do it!!!
 
Of course, there are tremendous benefits of a 10 party week....  even if your averages are low ($200/party) -- that means you would sell $2000 worth of product in one week! {If your average is $350 - x 10 = $3500]  and with 2 bookings from each party.... you will be 'in the groove' for an awesome record breaking September!  And if you interview at least 1 person from each party (hostess) -- you may have a bronze medal (3 new team members)!   GET EXCITED ABOUT CHANGING THE COMPLEXION OF YOUR BUSINESS IN ONE WEEK!
