DESERTED ISLAND GAME:

(after skin care, and before glamour)

OkIts time to play a game.  Heres how it works, I want you to flip your profile over and use any blank spot on the back of the profile.

Heres how it works.You are all alone, on a desert island for monthsmonths!!  You have no means of getting off so youve basically made the best of the situation figured out food, built a tiny hut, etc.  Until one day, off in the ocean you see a speck and as the speck gets closer you realize that its a boat and as the boat gets closer you realize that on that boat is a true blue hot manand if its not your husband or boyfriend, thats ok cuz we are just playing a gamel!!  J   What you realize is that you have about 60 seconds to get into your hut and put on ONE glamour item of your choice that one item you know you could NOT live without.  60 seconds and hes on shore.  Remember foundation is not glamour, even though it does make you look fabulous!  So whats your one glamour item?

Okanywhere in that blank spot on your profile, I want you to write what that ONE glamour item would be.

OKwhat I want you to do right now is get out your cell phone.  Heres how the game works.  When I say GO, you are going to use your cell phone to write down the 1^st name and phone number of any woman in your phone age 18 or older.  I promise I wont call her without your permission and Ill tell you when we are all done what it is we are doing.  So, readyfirst name and phone numbers.  The one who has the most when I say STOP will win a ticket toward to door prize.  ReadyGO!

(this is the time I clean up the mess and start packing things away)  When Im cleaned up I say STOP!

OkWho had at least 5 names?  GREAT!!  Who had at least 10 names?  WOW!!  15 Names?  (keep counting up until there is a winner and she gets a ticket toward the door prize)   

Oklet me tell you what you just didyou created your guest list so that you can be a hostess for me!  When you use those names (and any other names that you want) to invite women to your Girls Day Out. you know that 1 item of makeup that you wrote down??  That will be your free gift when I come to your Girls Day Out!  Its easy to be a hostess, its just you plus at least 2 other women getting together and playing in skin care or makeup!

So, right now, if you know you are going to use the guest list you just created to be a hostess for me, Id like to give you another ticket toward the door prizes we will do at the end!  (hand out tickets, but do the actual booking during the individual close)

AT HER PARTY, WHEN I AM THANKING HER FOR BEING A HOSTESS I MAKE A BIG DEAL OUT OF PRESENTING HER WITH HER GLAMOUR ITEM & TELL THE OTHER LADIES THAT THEY ARE GOING  TO LEARN HOW THEY CAN EARN THEIRS FOR FREE!

AFTER I PLAY THE DESERTED ISLAND GAME, I FINISH WITH DASH & GO GLAMOUR IF WE ARE DOING GLAMOUR.  IF NOT, I GO RIGHT INTO THE TABLE CLOSE.  AFTER I HAVE CLOSED ALL OF THE GUESTS WITH SALES & BOOKINGS, I COME BACK AND FINISH WITH TICKET GAME MARKETING.  THIS  IS MY FINAL SCRIPT BEFORE I DO DRAWINGS.

OK  I dont know if I dont ask, so Im not putting you on the spot, but I want everyone to do this (I hold up my fingers in the shape of a c).  This means I had fun today, Id like to be invited back, but right now in my life I dont see myself being a Mary Kay customer.  Okeveryone do this (I hold up my fingers in the shape of a b).  This means hmmmIm kind of intrigued about a Mary Kay business for myself, buy me a cup of coffee and tell me more.  Okeveryone do this (I hold up my fingers in the shape of an a).  This means wow!  ABSOLUTELY!  This Mary Kay opportunity sounds amazing!  Give me and agreement right now, I want to become a Mary Kay consultant!  (then I review A, B, C ) and sayOkshow me what you are!

If they are a B, I give them a team building packet and schedule the interview.  If they are an A, we do their agreement on the spot on my Blackberry!

I then finish my skin care class with drawings for the door prize!
