Hello, Seminar Super Stars!

 

I am so proud of you all for getting on tonights callMary Kay always said, Those who Show Up, Go Up! and I have ALWAYS been a firm believer in that!

 

I bet there are a few (if not several) of you on this call who are not quite where they would like to be as of yet this quarter, and I am here to tell youTHATS OKAY! J

 

Even if you havent got ONE PENNY toward your Star yet, there is HOPE!  We still have 41 DAYS to WORK to reach our goalsThat is over one month to make this Star magic happen and I am so excited for all of you! 

 

Valentines Day coming up!  It is just 2 weeks away and you can start your Sweet Heart bookings and sales, NOW!

 

First: start by making a list of all the people and places you visit or do business with on a daily/weekly/monthly basis (just like you would around the winter holidays):

Super Market                   Bus Driver                Mail Carrier             

Car Service Station         Family                      Husbands/Boyfriends

Day Care                         Church                     School(s)

Dentist                             Secretary                 Co-Workers

House Sitter                     Dog Sitter                Car pool

Tailor                               Hair/Nail Salon         College Roommates

 

After you have your list, itemize it!

Decide who you will contact to have a facial or host a party in the next 2 weeks BEFORE Valentines Day.  Some themes you might want to use when booking could be:

"Lady in Red" - (Red Carpet Counter coming to you...)

"Little Black Dress" (They wear their L.B.D.)

"Smokey Eyes & Luscious Lips"

"Love your Skin"

 

At these appointments, you want to keep it simple of course by minimizing your focus to just skin care, or just lips, but you will for SURE want add a few embellishments to make it special, like heart shaped chocolates with red wrappers and RED lip colors for them to sample or take home to play with!  You may also want to try dimming the lights, add candles or flowers, serve sparkling juice, etc. to get them into the Valentines day mood!  At the end of her appointment, you may want to remind her that her Valentine loves it when shes taken the time to look her best!  Be sure you get her wish list and his contact information, too!

 

After your appointment, call or text him right away with her list so he looks like a hero when he gives her exactly what she wants for V-day! 

 

You may also want to grab YOUR significant others cell phone and contact HIS list of friends that you know have girlfriends or wives!  Pretend that you are him, and send a text from his phone to all his buddies and offer your gift giving services!

Text Script:

"In case u have forgotten...V-day is only 13 days away! 

If ur still in search of the perfect gift for your woman...my wife can hook u up! She has beautifully packaged, budget friendly gifts from MK that will make you look like the best husband EVER!

Just let Kim know ur price-point. She can add wine/chocolate/flowers/etc & deliver to your wife @ work or u can deliver to ur sweetheart!

But don't call me...Kim's # is 651-303-8090. She's taking orders now through 2/13!"

 

 

If you have businesses on your list, you might want to try contacting either the person who services you or their HR department now, and schedule an hour to stop in and play Cupid the week of Valentines Day!  It might be wise to get a rough idea of how many women work in each business/office before you stop in

 

Also, find out how they would like you to connect with their staff.  Some may prefer to have you walk around to each person individually or they may have you set-up in a meeting room; in which case I would ask to have an Office Cupid escort their co-workers to and from the room you are in.  (This may be your contact person or friend.)

 

The day of your appointment, be sure youre looking SHARP in your appropriate MK business attire!  You may want to wear your Valentines Day accessories, but try to keep them looking professional and not gaudy!

 

Go into each office with your smile, a pen, your date book, and a roll of drawing tickets/slips that allows you to collect their name and contact information. 

 

To draw attention, have a beautifully packaged V-day GRAND prize!  (i.e. a $50 gift basket of MK product (Satin Hands/Lips) or something like that...) Whatever it is, make it look like a fantastic Valentine package she cannot live without (add a basket/wine/chocolate/flowers/etc.) to increase excitement!  (Hint: If you are visiting several businesses, you could do just one Grand Prize drawing for everyone who enters...)

 

Have also a bundle of heart shaped balloons (from the dollar store), or a bouquet of flowers (from Sams Club), or a box of individually wrapped chocolates or whatever inexpensive Valentine you wish to give each person who gives you their contact information.  Whatever you choose, create a Valentine with your business card and maybe a Section 2 sampler attached to give them after youve collected her drawing entry!  This way she wins no matter what!

 

As she is filling out her entry form, book her!

Have your date book ready, and know the times you are available to work!  Offer her a special promotion (15%, price item, Thinking of You gift card, etc.) to be used with you at the time of her appointment, and let her know that if she is the Grand Prize winner, you will have her gift for her, too!

 

Don't forget the MEN in the office could register their wives for a chance to WIN, tooand to receive a complimentary pampering session from you!  He can take your Valentine home to her and she will love it! 

 

You may want to have some pre-packaged gifts ready for him, too!  ($15, $25, $40)

 

Have these tools with you everywhere you go these next two weeks and be ready to offer superior service to everyone you bump into during your day!

 

Carry these ideas through the rest of the month and into March!  Dont forget International Womens Day and the Mary Kay Makeover Day is SATURDAY March 8th!  Turn these Valentines Day ideas into an opportunity to honor Women!
