FAVORITE WAYS TO INCREASE WEEKLY SALES

1. FOLLOW-UP when you say youll do something DO IT! Call or text the person today. Getting back to people lets them know they are important. The longer we wait to make a call or follow-up with a customer the less important they feel they are to us. We dont want to appear pushy, but following-up is not being pushy its just good business & we need to treat customers or perspective customers like gold.

2. FOLLOW THROUGH be a woman of your word!

3. FOLLOW OUT to follow to the end or to a conclusion to execute. Plan your work & work your plan!!

ACTIVITES:

1. Mascar-a-thon or a lip-a-thon or hand cream-a-thon, etc.

Offer a customer a free mascara for every 10 mascaras sold. If she sells 20, then she earns 2 free mascaras, etc. For example, 10 mascaras (can be different types & colors since all are now 15.00 each I also include Lash Primers in that group too.)

2. Hold a party.

3. Silent Party or a Web-site Party.

***Hostess has her friends go to your web-site & order items they may need.

***Offer hostess credit for total sales or have a specific Wish List item she wants to get FREE or at a reduced rate for a certain amount of sales.

***I like to deliver orders to each person make order festive & special. Include a nice piece of chocolate too. Its an especially nice way to introduce yourself & meet each person. For each NEW person that orders I give the hostess a $10.00 gift certificate to use on her next re-order.

4. Coach My Hostess.

***Give her a script on how to invite her guests along with her Hostess Packet.

***Have her fill out her Wish List of what she wants FREE or at a reduced rate. Encourage her to list ALL Mary Kay products she wants good to have for gift ideas for her spouse or other family member or friend or for extra bonus items for being a fabulous hostess.

***Give her a brownie mix & lemonade packet for her party treats.

***Offer $100.00 in FREE Mary Kay products for completing 4 of the 5 tasks & an extra bonus if she completes all 5 tasks.

1. gives you guest list with names, phone #s & email addresses within 48 hours of booking party & a bonus if she calls you within 24 hours of booking party with her guest information.

2. holds party on date booked.

3. invites at least 3 new gals (must be 18 years of age & not have a consultant.)

4. have 2 bookings from her party (a guest attending party or someone that cant attend, but wants to hold party or hostess can book another party to be held with different group of friends.)

5. Have $150.00 in outside sales.

***Immediately send her a note Congratulating her on booking & holding a party thank her for getting guest list to you, encourage her to obtain 150.00 in outside orders & ask who will make great hostesses so shell have her 2 new bookings.

***Call for guest list. Pre-profile guests.

***At her party make a big deal of the hostess the nicest compliment I can receive is when a customer shares her favorite people with me. Give her the Wish List items she has earned also a good teaser for the guests to see that being a hostess has its rewards.

5. Hold another Party.

6. Basket Treasures (include Look Book & order forms or an order sheet in the basket)

***give to a customer to share with co-workers or her neighbors or her Bridge Club.

***give to a hostess to get outside orders.

***take it with you to your workplace.

***with permission, put in teachers lounge @ your childs school or child care center.

***carry it with you when you drop off orders or when doing a stop-n-shop appt. or a facial.

7. Call your customers to sing them Happy Birthday.

Offer a birthday special I offer a fragrance @ a discount. If they are definitely NOT a fragrance person Ill offer another big ticket item at a discount for their birthday month.

8. Hold yet another Party.

9. Look Book Calls.

***Call customers prior to them receiving their Look Book & tell them to be on the look out for Look Book & to check out a certain page or item as you think theyll be interested in a particular new item or color.

***Book Test Market or Preview Parties or Sneak Peak or Trend Setters Parties or Women of Opinion Parties for those customers who want to be on the cutting edge & see whats new. Order new products as soon as you can & schedule those get-togethers prior to Look Book coming out so they really get a jump on whats new. Also helps you get a sense of what items you want to order more of before they are sold out.

***Follow-up calls after Look Book has been recd to confirm theyve recd their Look Book, what questions they may have & to check on what products they may be running low on.

10. New Customers.

***Write them a note thanking them for their business, that is was great to meet them & that you look forward to serving them in the future plus I include my Personal Services Sheet.

11. Hand Cream Handouts (Brittany Mitchell).

***Purchase Peach & Fragrance-free hand cream samples from MK/section 2. Place your labels on each hand cream. Place samples, your business cards & business card receipts in a Miracle Set bag. As you meet people at the grocery store, soccer practice, doctors or dentists office, etc. use the following script.

***I would love to give you a gift. I love to honor women. Would you like a peach or fragrance-free hand cream? Im with Mary Kay. Im doing a hand cream handout & Id love you to try our hand cream & a few of your friends too. Just text or email me at the address attached to the hand cream with your opinion. Im doing a drawing this week & Im going to give away a full size hand cream to one lucky winner who shares their opinion with me. All you have to do is try it & email me your opinion. Such as: like the smell or texture, makes my hands feel great, its not greasy, etc. If you & anyone else sends me their impressions then each name will go into the drawing.

***Be excited be on fire with enthusiasm!! See how many leads you can get per sample bag. Its much easier to multiply than add one at a time so if you hand out 10 hand creams & they share with 5 -10 people thats an additional 50-100 new contacts.

***Offer customer a free full-size hand cream if 10 of her friends, co-workers, etc. email you with their information & their impressions. Then all the people who share their opinion are entered into a separate drawing & there will be one lucky winner.

Include a Look Book plus this sheet & order forms (place in a sheet protector.) Change your Baskets based on time of year, what you have in your inventory or what interests that particular customer.
