You can use this Idea for any occasion !!
Great idea! As you order your holiday items, order samples at the same time for this project. And wouldn't it be smart to order enough recruiting materials to make up 20-25 packets and have those with you too when you're mobbed at the soccer field? Revving it up for the biggest sales time of the year!

We got this idea from Director Dwauna Maura. She hands this Pampering Pack out to Moms at soccer practice. You could pass this out in your neighborhood. The possibilities are endless.

In a small pink striped bag (you can get from the Dollar Tree or Party Store) put a Beauty Book Brochure, Business Card, TimeWise Cleanser and Moisturizer sample, Suede and Mocha Freeze Lipstick
Samples and disposable lip brush.

Print up this on pink paper.

Have you thought about holding an open house for Back-To-School? You could invite mom's at the local school, teachers or any and all of your customers. Have a special for back to school; 10%-15% off of pens, pencils and erasers (lip & eye liners, and concealers).
Hold another Perfect Start or Power Start.
Go to a few local stores and have yourself a Scavenger Hunt. Make a list of qualities to look for. ie. Red hair, sharp dresser, mom with baby, glasses, blue dress. You get the idea. Approach them and tell them you are on a scavenger hunt. Show them the list and show them where they fit in. Ask for name and number. .... This one works better with a buddy, but I've done it alone.

Ideas for Look Book in School Lounge

Good Morning - here's a "cover sheet" that one of my team members composed, uses and shared with me (she deserves all the credit, it's a great idea)!! Attach this verbage to the Look Book and pass out to the receptionist in business offices, or who ever you want to give a Look Book to. The cover sheet saves a lot of time if there are busy phones ringing and people all over...here's the verbage...

"Hi, my name is YOUR NAME, your local Mary Kay Consultant. I would like to leave my card, brochure and a samples for you to enjoy. I am most excited about Timewise Skin Care....LESS STEPS, LESS TIME, LESS MONEY!!!

If you would like to have a class, facial, makeover or place an order, call me [YOU CAN EITHER PUT A DATE OR SAY FIVE DAYS], I have a purse size of your choice of parfume as my gift to you! {or whatever you want to offer-the purse size parfums only cost $1.00)

Thank you and have a WONDERFUL day!"

Be sure to put your name, address, telephone number and mymk.com address on the top (like letterhead). You also may want to add a blurp about Holiday Shopping. GET CREATIVE!!!!!....(if you don't have a kid find someone who does) DON'T ignore this if your children are in Pre-School, Middle School or High School...these ideas can also work for Band Booster Clubs, Drama, Chorus, Science...etc.

Elementary schools are big on excepting all kinds of support...just ask an individual teacher or PTA Leaders.

Great Ideas!!!!

1. PTAs sale advertising slots to raise money....be sure to check your benefits....is their newsletter going home monthly? Is the quality good?

2. Fall Festivals will be just around the corner.....be ready to donate door prizes and set up a table for registrations.

3. Get visible ...even working moms can once a week volunteer 30 mins for reading assistance.

4. Eat lunch with your child ....I am finding there are a lot of moms in the schools at that time....And a lot are professionals!

5. For the working mom....check with the PTA or just a teacher (this can also work in a daycare or other groups)...donate reams of paper ...you can sometimes buy 2 and get one free in packs of 500....Print Mary Kay advertisement on one side and offer to mail copies for the teachers of letters that are going home to parents....you will of course reach more people if it is a school wide letter or PTA announcement. (PLEASE BE SURE TO USE THE COMPANY ADVERTISEMENTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) GOOD Approach...... ask them if they mind using recycled paper from your business!!!

6. If your child is in an after school program? At our school the 4th & 5th grade chorus meets till 3pm (30mins after school) With over 100 students needing to be picked up including mine ....just count the number of moms that will see your face once a week for only 5 mins of your time when you have to be there anyway.... ****KEY!!!!Volunteer...but volunteer SMART!!!
