Incredible 10 minute Holiday Sales idea.. from NSD Karen Piro.!!
I have kept this article on my desk for the last 4 weeks.. and I couldn't stop thinking about it so I decided to type it and send it to you.  I have done this myself many many times and  it  is wonderful!   Today with women "SOOOOOO BUSY" .. they love that you put "their needs" FIRST!!  Every consultant from the most Full Time Career Consultant to the most part time Personal Use  consultant, from the Newest consultant to the most Senior Consultant  can do this.  Just a short amount of time spent.. and they will appreciate you soooooo much!!  Were you just feeling that you needed a little extra something to get out the door and begin your Holiday Sales.. well here it is!!!!!!!! 
Lynn has a fun prize for the 1st 5 consultants in her unit who have 10 scheduled. (Date and time must be set) .. I know that means scheduling ahead.. but it will get things rolling quickly.  .. (a great time for them to get a Thanksgiving Hostess gift too!)

1.)  Categorize your customers by geographic areas
2.)  Get on the phone and call customers in 1 area until you connect with 3 or 4 who will be home this evening

Hi Mary, This is _________, your Mary Kay consultant, Do you have just a quick moment?  Great!   ________have you finished your Christmas shopping yet?  I'm doing something special this year for my clients to "make their life easier.  Im going to be in your area this evening (or later today) and I only have about 10 minutes, but Id love to stop by and show you some stocking stuffer ideas, and some hostess gifts for those Holiday Parties you will be attending.  I have beautiful items that range from $6 on up.  I know you will find it  a great use of your time.  Is there any reason you wouldnt be willing to just give me 10 minutes?  What time would be best for you? 7:00 or 7:15?
3. Book appointments every half hour to allow for driving time.  Be a woman of your word and stick to that 10 minutes!
4. The customers average purchase is about $75.  Do 3 appointments (or more) BACK TO BACK!  Thats $225 - $300 in 1 outing!
5.  What to take?  A Pretty basket with whatever you have in it.  You will sell more if you let them demo your products.  I suggest full size.. and then keep them as your own and write them off.
6. Keep this basket with you at all times.  Sell to men, baby sitters, bank tellers, hair dressers, front desk receptionists.. Everyone!
7. People are busy!! They often times dont have time to go somewhere else but if you COME TO THEM for just a few minutes.. they love and appreciate it!
