Ideas on how to get business! Ways to Finish **STAR**

It's time to put the pedal to the metal and get up and make this #1 thing happen! That means meeting your personal goals, and many of you completing StarConsultant!!!  Even if your decision is to do "half-star" pace, etc ...... the ideas below will help you.  Why not DECIDE to sell double your normal in the next 4 weeks.  DECISION is the key! Here are some ideas to help you finish up your STAR Consultant goal!!! GO FOR IT!!! E-mail Lynn your plan of Action or  your ideas to finish your Star goal by the 15th. I'd love to share with the whole Unit several different ideas.   We can do this only if we work as a TEAM.  Your individual  STAR goal helps the Unit which gives us recognition from Mary Kay Corporate.  I know we can do it.  You are quality women and I'm very blessed to work with each of you!

WAYS TO FINISH STAR: 
(choose 2 or 3 and really work it baby, work it)!!  :)

1.  Eparties.  Set a goal to have at least 5 ehostesses.

2.  Hand out (X) chocolates or a silk flower with your card and a sample attached. Target different offices and go in with a smile on your face and be professionally dressed.  Just say "By the way, this is for you."  This is the response you will get:

One third will pretty much ignore you
One third will say thank you and not much else
One third will say "WOW, Mary Kay, I LOVE Mary Kay!!  I've been looking for a consultant!!!  Do you have _______ product?  I love it!  You'll have an excited new customer!  

3.  Set a goal of how many guests you will bring to Spa Night night and to all our meetings in June. 

4.  Set a goal to add 10 women to your Before and After Portfolio before the month has ended.  Models are so much fun!  Your portfolio can include:  Redheads, Brunettes, Blondes, Silver Foxes, New Moms, Nurses, Secretaries, Teachers, Realtors, Stay at Home Moms, Home School Moms, Velocity Girls and their moms, Blue eyes, brown eyes, green eyes, hazel eyes, etc.  It goes on and on.


5.  If you don't know where to begin, select 2-3 people that intimidate you.  Tell them that your director has challenged you to offer makeovers to people that you would love to work with, but they intimidate you just a little.  (You might be really surprised at the response).

6.  Put together a really neat basket with impulse products in it...i.e. hand cream, spa lotions, the new lip glosses and Chill Stix, nail polish, mascara, fragrance testers, your business card, Beauty Books, Look Books, sales tickets, calculator and pen (in the bottom).  Carry it EVERYWHERE you go.  Use it like a purse.  You will sell, sell sell!!!

7.  Call everyone with birthday this month or next!!!  Tell them that you're throwing a BIRTHDAY PARTY class for them!!!  Say "There are two things that women usually want on their birthdays--to have a new look and to look younger.  We can help with both!!!"  Ask them to give you the names and numbers of the ladies they would like to invite to their birthday party and you'll do all the work.  Tell them you'll have balloons, refreshments and a gift for them.  They get to come and relax,  celebrate with their friends, get a new look and they will be ready to go out on their special day!

The birthday girl gets a hostess twinkie with a candle in it.  Serve whatever other refreshments you like.  Get some balloons from the grocery store.  Give them a gift certificate for Mary Kay.  Call their husband/mom and tell them you are thowing a party and ask if they would like to purchase a gift basket or gift certificate for them for their birthday.  Sing Happy Birthday!  FUN FUN!!!   This is a great way to get lots of leads fast!  Your customers will feel so special and you will make lots of money!

8.  Go to anywho.com and get all the names for the people in your neighborhood or any neighborhood in the city, for that matter.  Print out a little flyer about who you are and what you do and follow up with a phone call.
