Over the past couple of months I have shared my experience with a lot of consultants frustrated because money is tight and they just can't get inventory or seem to get ahead!   So I thought I would send a message     reiterating what I shared with them through my experience of going from BROKE to Prosperous!!!!

THOUGHTS THAT MUST CHANGE:
1. The first thing you need to do is realize that what you are doing is NOT working!
2. Next, know that you don't have to have a lot of money to make money--- it is what you do with what you have.
3. Think long term, not short term. Meaning------ be patient- instant gratification often hurts you for a long time verses waiting (doing without) for a short time and then reaping the benefits FOREVER!

OK- those are thought changes -  now, let's apply those thoughts in the following action plan

ACTION PLAN IN REGARDS TO YOUR MK BUSINESS:
When I started Mary Kay I didn't have any money. It was soooooo hard, but I held classes and got very little samples off of section 2, I just used what was in my kit (short term sacrifice for long term gain)!!!!!!!! The money is in the skin care, so that is what I showed, talked about and romanced-- reorders come fast with that and that is money!! I reinvested ALL the money I got from sales-- weekly-- to build my inventory! Then when I qualified for a credit card I got to full inventory. ($3,600)

*****I see so many of you placing small orders ($10-100) which is poor money management! You pay $7.95 on shipping AND by doing small orders you don't get the free product bonuses-- as they say...the rich get richer-- you must think like the rich!! USE YOUR MONEY WISELY! HOW?

1. You order in large quantities and keep overhead (section 2) LOW!! (recognize what you have been doing is not working)
2. Book close together so that you can have 2-- $300 classes and place a $600 order-- giving you the product to give them-- $600 on your shelf and $100 in FREE product (the rich get richer)!!! Do you know how much freedom I have to give things away as incentives to customers and prospects because I order $600-1200 at a time, therefore receiving $100-200 in free product a month!! 

3. Always use extra cash for sellable product- that is money you could get by selling it! (you don't need a lot of money to make money-- it is what you do with what you have )

4. If you can't get full inventory in one fast swoop-- then do it inch by inch!! You have to start somewhere and the samples don't make you money- if you don't have product to sell. (short term sacrifice for long term gain)

5. The samples that came in your starter kit are what you need to use for now.

6. People will buy the color you show them! open 10 eye colors--2 or 3 blushes and 3 glosses---I hardly ever demo more than that-- then if they want a different color they look in the book and take my suggestion-- that way by ordering real product to demo- you get the credit toward your star and you use it forever instead of once and then throw it away and have to buy more (samples!!) LQ: *I always use the the real size medium coverage Day Radiance ... 6 most popular shades....to demo vs. those foil samples that are way too pricey!...

7. Always do 60/40 split- if you have not listened to your Next Step training tape ...LISTEN and then APPLY!! By not replacing the product you sold back onto your shelf-- you will be out of business or back on the credit card before you know it because you don't have what your customers want when they run out!!!

 These are the things I did to become Rich!!! Seriously!! Please take my advice! It works!

 Start thinking in $600 increments from now on! Why is $600 the place to START?
1. You need to average $600 a month to be a star consultant
2. You get 3 FREE product bonuses at $600
3. You get a 13% check when you have 5 team members order and you do a $600 (only way anyone can get 13%)
4. You get your consistency prize when you order $600
5. You contribute to our team goal
6. You are forced to make more money-- darn!!
What a perfect place to focus and start to build consistency in your business-- if you are on profit sell just $300 a week, if you are still building your inventory, it is just $150 a week!!!!!!!!

Let's think and grow rich!! I want you to experience the freedom and joy of having money! I never thought this way and was always struggling my whole life! Now, I can't explain the peace of not having to worry when something breaks in the house or I need another root canal!
