THANKSGIVING WEEK STRATEGY!! 

Remember that Thanksgiving is a DAY, not a week! And ... it can be one of the best weeks of your entire year! By using the strategies below, you can make it happen for you!

SUNDAY: Sometime Sunday evening, make your weekly plan sheet! Set a goal for what you want to sell this week!  Plan telephone time, quick makeovers, deliveries, interviews!  Make a list of friends or relatives you will be seeing this week who may need your services. Also plan your grocery list, and decide what cooking you will need to do and when you will be doing it.  Enter all this on the plan sheet!

MONDAY: Hold a telephone lottery! Call 25 customers and say --------------- This is _____ with Mary Kay! I hope you have a quick minute.  (Pause)  The reason I'm calling tonight is because I'm having a  Thanksgiving Day Lottery! And no, I'm not giving away a million dollars or a pink Cadillac - but if you place an order tonight, you can pick your lucky number between 1 and 25 and at the end of the night, I'm going to draw one lucky number and if it's your number, you'll get your order absolutely free! Is there anything you'd like to order?"

After she orders, have her select her lucky number - write it on her sales ticket and keep track of the numbers selected. If she chooses one already used - have her select another!

TUESDAY: Attend your weekly Success Meeting! Get the enthusiasm and knowledge you will need to make this week great! If your meeting is Monday, change Monday and Tuesday activity. 
*   WEDNESDAY - Check your inventory and see what products you will need to order either for Christmas business or just to replenish what you have sold.
 
Order before close of business on Wednesday!!!

Call me for help in getting your order in by Wednesday...and be a part of our GOAL of 100 consultants ordering in November!

Have a basket of extra products and samples of anything new. Give her a sample of an eye shadow, blush or hand cream to try and watch your sales DOUBLE!  Let her know "Dallas just called you and asked you to get the opinion of 30 before Thanksgiving!" 

THURSDAY: Enjoy Thanksgiving Day with your family!

FRIDAY: This is traditionally the biggest shopping day of the season! This is a day you can either BUY or SELL! I suggest you SELL! This would be the day to contact close friends and relatives who may be in town for the weekend and get together with them for a quick makeover or interview.

SATURDAY: Continue to promote Holiday Coffees, open houses & contact husbands for 12 days of Christmas ideas


And if you're traveling during the holidays ... here is your alternate
plan!

SUNDAY: Same as above.

MONDAY: Do Tuesday's activity!

TUESDAY: Do Wednesday's activity!

WEDNESDAY: Tie up loose ends, travel day. Be sure to pack your Beauty case to take with you and an assortment of product.

THURSDAY: Enjoy Thanksgiving Day with your family!

 

 


It's the holiday season.  More than any other time of the year, this is when your gift service can be an especially valuable timesaver and stress-reducer for busy customers.  No circling around a crowded parking lot.  No standing in long lines.  Just friendship, laughter and beautiful gifts to give and to get.  Share the season with your customers by holding a Razzle-Dazzle Party - or two - or 10!  And may your holiday dreams come true!

Make hosting a Razzle-Dazzle party irresistible with this sensational hostess gift. And if youd like to bring a friend along, the more the merrier! Ill drop a postcard invitation in the mail tomorrow. I look forward to seeing you at the party!
 

Razzle Dazzle
Party Checklist:

Razzle Dazzle excitement is only three weeks away:
Order your holiday gift sets, along with Section 2 samplers and hostess gifts you'll need for the party.
Print out your Razzle-Dazzle party invitations or take them to your local copy shop. Follow the instructions included with the invitation.
Just two weeks 'til you dazzle your customers with holiday cheer:
Collect the guest list with phone numbers and addresses from your hostess and mail your invitations.
It's almost here!  It's coundown week to your holiday extravaganza:
Create your product displays and gift baskets.
Plan your simple menu. Select your music.
Decide which of the Color 101 Looks you'll wear to the party. You are your own best model for new products!
Put the finishing touches on your party the day before:
You might want to call each guest to let her know how excited you are that she's coming to the party. Invite her to bring a friend.
Round up last-minute details like festive baskets for your samplers, prize drawing items if you're having one, any Section 2 samplers and copies of The Look for fall/holiday. You might also want to have the Travel Roll-Up Bag filled with the Beauty Essentials Collection always a great party close.

Think like a holiday retailer!

The eye buys! Dont be afraid to use a little razzle-dazzle in your decorations. You might try sprinkling confetti around gift sets and product displays. Bright ribbons and bows, sparkly snowflakes or gaily-wrapped packages will draw eager eyes to your merchandise.
Next time youre at the mall, notice how retailers group related items together for upselling opportunities. Think of ways you can do this with your own products. For example, when youre showcasing the limited-edition Belara Gift Set or Mary Kay Tribute Gift Set, feature the regular-line fragrances alongside the sets. Or promote the sheer fragrance mist and body wash next to the sugar scrub and moisture lotion included in the Private Spa Collection Gift Sets.
You can fill festive bowls or baskets with product samplers. Guests can grab one on their way out the door its a great way to introduce them to products they may not have tried. Samplers are available on Section 2 of the Consultant order form.
Your home may already be decorated for the holidays, but you can always warm things up with the aroma of baking cookies or hot apple cider on the stove. Or consider holiday-scented candles to set the mood.
Fill the Little Big Bag or the Sheer Envelope with fun products perfect for giving to a favorite teacher, babysitter or hairstylist. Theyre easy to sell as last minute gift ideas. Themed gift baskets are always popular, so consider creating gift collections that include a little merchandising touch a netted bath sponge or rubber ducky, for example. Just don't forget to include in your selling price any added expenses of putting together beautiful gift baskets.
Display the new Color 101 Looks. Its a great way to generate color makeover appointments and promote new looks for holiday parties. The holiday fashion show on your Mary Kay Personal Web Site is also a creative way to promote the perfect party look to your guests.
Dont forget to have The Look for fall/holiday available for guests. You might want to collect the names and addresses of guests who wish to receive The Look quarterly through the Preferred Customer Program.
Show off the FREE gift with purchase. Customers who purchase $40 or more in Mary Kay products at your party can take home the Mary Kay Essential Eye Set.
Prominently display the pink jeweled bracelet and jewelry box hostess gift. Remind potential hostesses that its a great way to give a gift to yourself and have fun doing it!
