How to Hold your December Stop and shops.

2.) Who can Hostess.. Look thru files for your very best hostesses, your friends for a Christmas get together, your neighbors for a Christmas get together, Places of business on their lunch hour or after work hours. think about hostessing 1-2 yourself, be sure to have one for men! Decide how many you want to hold before Christmas.
3.) Hostess Credit program.. $100 in free products to the hostess for having 6 girlfriends in who are over 18 and dont have another consultant
Or $15 in free product for each guest who attends

I like to offer 2-3 at various times.. you never know when people are available. As long as you are going to set up.. stay set up for 2-3 days There will be all sorts of personal and gift items available. Anywhere from $10 on up.
Cash, checks and credit cards are accepted. Come and find a NEW favorite lip color, a much needed skin care item or a special gift for someone on your life.
6. Do I need lots of inventory to do these?
NO .. you only need enough inventory to set up 3-4 stations where the guests can relax and shop. Make sure your display is sharp.. by that I mean.. no wilted bows or tissue paper. Think about what it might look like if you went to Nordstroms for a stop and shop. The eye buys!
Get a color theme. This year .. mine is Red and white ( so I can use it for Valentines day too) Go to the Dollar store and get some Red shiny gift bags. They will give you height on your table. Tuck fresh white tissue to give you even more height. That draws attention to the display. May want to also pick up some Red and White candy canes at the dollar store to tuck around..and at Target or Big lots they have snow flakes.. about 30 for $2-4. Get some Red and white ribbon at Party
Another Thougth.. something that I have loved seeing my consultants do is tie in a little BLACK Ribbon.. looks so sharp. I have done a gold and silver combination before.
I am not big on buying things to add to my displays because I believe our products can stand alone.
But.. you may want to look for some darling little containers at the Dollar store. Buy 5 of something.. little wicker square or rectangular baskets, or little tins that fit with your color scheme.
Dollar store also has some fluffy socks that you can purchase to pair up with the Mint Bliss Energizing Foot and leg lotion.
Cute little $1 cheater glasses that you can tie together wih the Firming Eye cream.
Love the little $1 or $1 stretchy gloves from target that you can call Gas Gloves and pair with a hand cream.. ( Tell how to make them.. one inside other,
Hand cream tucked in them but still peaking out, and a stretchy $1 bracelet or ribbon around the wrist. I just saw where someone put a ring on the ginger0
I believe that our products can stand alone with just a little snowflake ornament dangling down tied around the cap or top of it.

If it is at your home.. lay some mirrors flat on your table and us them as a display tray. I drape some fun

You dont have to have on the spot delivery . if your inventory is not yet built.. collect the money, place the order after your Stop and shop and deliver once it comes. They are completely fine with that.
Dont worry that you dont have enough product to hold Stop and Shops.. whatever you have is enough. Women can only buy so much. You are going to be just fine.
I love something as special as a feminine curly ribbon on our timewise repair. What woman wouldnt love to find that under the tree!
I have 4 stations.. so if you are doing Stop and Shops at your hostesses house keep it simple by having 4 totes.. 1 for each station. Dont worry about on the spot delivery. You cant begin to know what they will purchase. If
4 stations
1.) Satin Hands/ Satin lips. Station. fresh clean white handtowels to dry their hands. Feels like a spa. Nothing is a bigger turn off than when someone uses a family hand towel..and it has seen its better days. Give choice of fragrance free or peach hand cream. Explain how the products work as they use them.
Display a fresh Satin hands, both hand creams, a fresh Satin Lips and why not also make that your body care station. Put any body care items you have..it.. MK body wash and shave,

3.) Skin Care Station. Miracle Set, Repair Set, Botanical Set, Velocity Set, and Mens Skin Care Set
Lay out the 4 choices of foundation, Timewise Matt and Luminous Foundation and the Foundation brush, Medium coverage, Loose Mineral powder with brush, Sheer Mineral pressed powder, tinted moisturizer with Sunscreeen and Cream to Powder foundation.

4. Fragrance Station
Divide into 2 parts.. for Him and for Her
Any fragrances you have. .. put them out. I allow them to test from the actual bottle.. but you may choose to
Have them test from the fragrance samplers. Less gets into the air that way.
Dance to Life, Belara, bella Belara, Thinking of you, Journey and Velocity. The eau de toilettes.. in Forever Orchid, Warm Amber, Simply cotton and exotic Passion fruit. Put out any of the complimentary products that go along with these fragrances.. ie.. Dance to Life Radian Shimmer Lotion, Sugar scrubs, shower gels, and body lotions.. as well.

True original, MK High intensity, Domain, tribute for men and velocity for men. Save cream.. I sold 11 of those to one woman last year. $110 ORDER.
6. What do you do at a Stop and Shop?
They come in .. Greet them at the door if at all possible.
Take their coat, You are welcoming them to your Stop and Shop experience. Be dressed Festively and yet professionally. They start by getting their pampering spa treatment. Satin Hands.. with YOU drying their hands. Satin Lips.. feels so great before they select their half price lipstick or gloss. If they fall in love with those 2 pampering spa treatment products they will spend $52.00. If they buy it for themselves..and 1 of each for a person on their christmas list. That is $104. if you had 6 women there who did that.. $624 in sales!!
If you get terribly busy helping the guests.. the hostess may need to take over with the satin Hands and Satin lips..but NO ONE does it like you!!
Give them a Look book and order sheet to use as they roam around. It is nice to put some prices out .. but remind them that all prices are in the book. SOO frustrating when you are shopping and have to constantly ask the price. You will loose sales that way.
Let them look and browse undisturbed..but offer your help .. or tips at each table.
