Classes with Mineral Powder.. Darlene Rutledge |
Dear Mighty Morrissettes.. I am doing some checking right now. How do you feel about demoing with a puffy round cotton ball? I am just not feeling good about using the brushes. Love, Marsha I just finished my third class in the last week with the Mineral Powders. They are a total hit!! Heres what Ive learned:
Enjoy getting your hands on them!!! Ask everyone around you to be your guinea pig and get a facial and makeover with the new Mineral Powders!
The attached Conversion Chart is wonderful. Print it and slip it in your skin care class literature folder.

Mineral Powder Foundation must be demoed with the special brush. Ive opened a brush for every color and labeled the brushes, Ivory 1, 2, Beige 1, 2, etc. so they are always used for the same color. The powder gets up deep into the brush, so this way there is no color mixing. Then I have opened 4 extra brushes so that I have a total of 8. (brushes are tax deductible as Supplies) These will not be labeled because I might have 4 Ivory 1 people, and they all need their own brush. You can shake the powder into their Styrofoam trays. Once they get it into their brush, they turn it upside down and tap the handle on the table so the powder goes down inside the bristles. This way they are not redipping into the cap or the sifter which could be unsanitary. They can redip into their Styrofoam tray. You may even have to provide an extra tray.
Then I use the Brush off www.brushoff.com Truly, these need little demonstration since this is the latest trend in foundation and its all over the media. Even though the colors may seem a little darker when applied, for me they have matched exactly according to what the company states. I am 204, Im using Ivory 2, and even though its more color, its very brown color so I simply look healthier. There is not a line difference between my jawline and my neck, so I am staying in Ivory 2. When comparing our minerals to others, ours is very brown compared to others that have much pink or orange in them. |
