Registration Information

Registration Fees
  • Fee covers two and one-half days and is separate from other expenses such as hotel, travel, etc. (includes Awards Seminar in the Arena).
  • Full fee applies to any and all functions no reduced fees can be paid for only one function or meal or any combination of functions or meals.
  • On-site registrations taken (space permitting) with additional fee of $25. Exception: No additional fee charged for Independent Beauty Consultants whose Independent Beauty Consultant Agreements are accepted by the Company in July and August 2012.

Registration Details
  • Priority registration begins April 9 by mail or Internet.
  • Online registration for priority qualifiers only is April 9-30. If you do not qualify for priority registration, your Awards Seminar registration will be held until April 30 and will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Online registration for all Independent Beauty Consultants begins May 1 at midnight Central time.
  • Deadline to receive registrations is July 4. Registrations received after July 4 will be returned.
  • Seminar registration could close before July 4 due to capacity restrictions in the Dallas Convention Center Arena.
  • The Company is not responsible for registrations and fees that are returned or lost in the mail.
  • Note: You MUST be registered for Seminar 2012 on or before July 4, 2012, in order to attend any special functions you may have qualified for. We cannot accommodate onsite registrants.

Registration for Active Independent Beauty Consultants
Registration for Awards Seminar is limited to Non-Terminated Independent Beauty Consultants, Independent Sales Directors and spouses. Registration for Awards Seminar is limited to Non-Terminated Independent Beauty Consultants and Independent Sales Directors until they reach the 13th month of inactivity. Terminated Beauty Consultants who have not placed an order in the last 12 months must place a $200 wholesale order before they can be registered. If an order is placed to make a Beauty Consultant active again, it could take up to 72 business hours of processing time before he or she is able to register.

A registration submitted for anyone not on record as a Beauty Consultant or for any family member other than the registrants spouse will be returned. (A Beauty Consultant or a Sales Director may not be registered as a spouse unless he/she is your spouse.) Guests are not allowed to attend Seminar with an Independent Beauty Consultant.

Registration Payment
  • To register, submit registration form(s) and fee(s) to Special Events Registration at Mary Kay Inc. for one Independent Beauty Consultant and spouse only.
  • Acceptable forms of payment: MasterCard, Visa, Discover, cashiers check or money order payable to Mary Kay Inc.
  • Personal checks will be returned.
  • Registrations hand-carried or faxed to corporate headquarters or the branches will not be accepted.
  • Do not send registration forms to the Company with new Independent Beauty Consultant Agreements.

Seminar Transfers
  • Transfer requests must be submitted on a transfer form with a $25 processing fee in the form of a money order, cashiers check, or Mastercard, Visa or Discover charge.
  • Registration fee must be paid to you by the person purchasing the transferred registration.
  • Transfers will be processed on-site at each Seminar after July 4, accompanied by a transfer form and the processing fee.
  • Registrations cannot be transferred from one Seminar to another.
  • Transfers will not be accepted over the phone.
  • ALL AWARDS SEMINAR TRANSFERS WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED FROM ONE REGISTERED PERSON TO ANOTHER PERSON.
  • Awards Seminar spouse registrations are transferable only to other spouses of attendees within the same Awards Seminar.

Seminar Refunds
  • Full registration refund options: Cancel online, or phone refund request via Consultant Contact Center at 800-272-9333 or the Director Contact Center at 800-545-4347 option 6 then 1, during normal business hours. Please note: cancellations will not be accepted by email.
  • Deadline for full registration refund or product request: July 4
  • No registration refunds or product requests will be processed after the Seminar affiliation
    cancellation date above.
  • Spouse activities: 48-hour advance cancellation required.
  • If your packet is picked up, you waive the right to receive a refund or to be sent product.
  • We do not automatically cancel your registration or send product if you do not attend.

Waiting List
Registrations received after maximum capacity has been reached for Awards Seminar will be placed on a waiting list. The waiting list will not be used after July 4, 2012. When your form is received, Special Events Registration will automatically register you in Awards Seating when space is available. If space doesn't become available for Awards Seminar, your registration fee that you paid for the waiting list will be returned beginning July 5.

Confirmation Information

  • Name badge and information packet: Pick-up at Seminar with picture identification or your Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant identification card.
  • You will not be allowed to pick up another persons packet.

Information Packets

  • Information packet contents: name badge, class schedule, sports/activity schedule (if requested by your attending spouse) and other general information
  • Information packets will not be mailed.
