SELL: Skin Care Class Close From a Winner

Want to double, triple your sales??  After 21 years in National Court of Sales, I do feel I'm good at closing the sale, and I could not have written this article better.  Kristi is right

Enthusiasm sells!  Are you MK from head to toe???  When you consistently use the product you WILL be excited about the results and that enthusiasm will attract people to you!


   Selling is one thing, closing the sale is another.  You can get people excited, but unless they take the product home with them you didn't finish.


   Make a friend before you make a sale.  PREPROFILE ALL your guests...this begins the relationship process and she is then coming to meet YOU, not some MK lady.  Also by preprofiling, you are getting to know her & what she is looking for - clearing up her complexion, adding moisture, ridding herself of laugh lines etc....


   It is imperative for you to find her need....and then fill it!  If she likes you, you have discovered what she is wanting and shown her you can provide that, she will BUY!  Everyone is happy.


   Always begin classes or facials with Satin Hands.  It feels soooo good; any defenses she had up have disappeared.  When is the last time YOU did Satin Hands for yourself?


   Ask closing questions throughout your class.  You can write these right into your Beauty Book.  Closing questions are questions designed to get a YES answer.  "Doesn't it make more sense to purchase a product that you have tried before purchasing it AND has a 100% satisfaction guarantee?"  You nod yes & smile.  They will nod back at you....good...everyone is on the same train.  If she is not agreeing with you, she is not "with" you yet.  Ask her more questions.  "Doesn't that feel nice & soft?"


   At the end of skin care when they are putting on their foundation you will want to complete the "skin care class close"...this is to affirm that skin care is the most important part. 


   "OK, let's review...what do you do to your face first thing in the morning? If someone doesn't respond, cue them a little. And, what do you do at night...right - you don't need makeup before you go to bed!  Now, I want you to think about how much time & money we spend on our hair...we perm it, we straighten it, we color it, we highlight it, we go to someone special to 'do' our hair, we buy special products to put in our hair and doodads to put on our hair....OR think about how much time & money we spend on our clothes?  Let's say your significant other (and if you don't have one, pretend) is going to take you to the BEST restaurant in town...you choose the spot.  OK, go to your closet & select the BEST outfit you own (you can see in their eyes if they mentally went to their closet) Are you in your closet???  If you don't have a great outfit, you went shopping.  ;)  All right, now put some shoes with it...some jewelry & a purse...how much did that outfit cost you?  And, how often do you get to wear it???  (If someone doesn't respond say - wouldn't you say you would be lucky to wear it 3-5x per year?)


OK, 5 years from now, I won't have my hair the same way...it will be out of style or I will be tired of it....5 years from now, I won't be wearing the same clothes, they will be out of style or I will be tired of them....but TEN years from now WE will all have the same face and it will look like however much time & effort we have put into it...so you can all see the importance of a good skin care program, right???  Say yes or we'll have to start all over!"


   They will respond with smiles and you have made your point....SC IS the most important part AND if everyone left that class with a SC set you would be a happy camper.  Most everyone there will have an outfit that cost $50....or $100 or $300 or $1000 - the point you have made is the skin care does a lot more and can be used every day!


   Go girls...get LOTS of guests to those classes and let's practice our skin care close!
