6 Steps to Marketing Your Web Site
From: Stephanie Phillips
These "6 Steps to Marketing Your Web Site" will help you to get your online business off to a great start and make your Web site the best customer service and business building tool that it can be!
1.  Update your business cards with your Web site address now - don't wait until you run out of cards to reorder. Let everyone know that you offer them the convenience of onine shopping!
2.  Order product reorder labels that include your Web site address, so that they know that they can easily order products from you online.
3.  Include your Web address on every brochure and newsletter - or any other form of correspondence that goes to your customers.
4.  Collect your customers' e-mail addresses so you can easily send them info about new products and special offers on your Web site.
5.  Send your customers a postcard that features your Web site address to let them know that they can shop online.
6.  Include your Web site address on your voicemail to remind your customers that they have another way to order from you.

Are you using your marykay.com website to its fullest extent?  As Pam Shaw
says - work everything 'full circle'... Last week when I checked email, there was a customer ORDER from the marykay.com site ($33)!  I was truly excited!  I called my customer back and since she wanted a whole bunch more than she ordered (but couldn't aford it) we decided to schedule a class...  the class held last night and the sales were $545 with 4 basics sold and 3 bookings and 2 interviews...  hostess earned $95 in free product! Wow! was that ever fun - and to think one $33 order could turn into that!  (these women live in a town of 800 people) Can you see how that web site has already paid off?  I ask everybody if they have an email address - when they write their phone number on a card, the email address goes on it, too!  I have had stickers made to add to my exisiting business cards that have my mymk.com address on there -- I want everyone to know that address and be able to get to it from their desk, at home, or at the office.  THIS IS THE CHEAPEST FORM OF GETTING INFORMATION INTO THE CUSTOMER'S HANDS THAT WE HAVE.  I have just started a monthly internet special -  I send a quick note to my email customers (men & women) about the product (or event) of the month - and of course, include my "signature" on every message that goes out.  Since I'm in a small rural community and have customers all over the state - email is sooooefficient and inexpensive and GREAT for communication - I'm thrilled with the marykay.com!!!
