First of all, it happens to all of us. In fact, its happened a lot more to the people that are at the top of this company. It's a numbers
game. As Mary Kay teaches, book twice as many as you want to hold. And some of us a little afraid to double book in case they both hold (which has never happened to me), will "chicken book". Book a class, a facial, and a recruiting interview all about the same time. If they all hold, call class hostess and explain bringing a few extra people. Pick up the potential recruit first and begin sharing, pick up the facial person and take to the class. Have the potential recruit assist at the class, after the class is over, drop off the facial person and finish the interview with the potential recruit!
Find out their hot button. If they don't want to have a skin care class, how about Las Vegas Legs, Tootsie Party (pedicure w/
Tootsie Rolls as toe separators - a hoot!), manicure class. Also, I know we've gotten away from saying party, but at Jamboree this past weekend, my Senior Director made a good point. After working all day, who wants to go and sit through a CLASS? Call it a Girl's Night Out or party (not sure if everyone is going to agree with this - don't want all your e-mails debating this - it's just an idea I am passing along) or one of the fun names mentioned above. Have fun, be excited!!! They can't help but want to be around you!!!
