Script Used for For Contacting Local Businesses for Sponsorship of
Holiday Gift Giving to Nursing and/or Assisted Living Homes

Hello, (may I speak with the business owner; branch manager; etc)
my name is _____________ and I am an Independent Beauty Consultant with Mary Kay Cosmetics.  I am contacting you because (you know their great reputation; you work with them as a client-i.e. they sold you your last car )
            I was presented with a unique Gift Giving opportunity Id like to share with you.  Do you have a real quick minute? I have made a commitment to (Nursing Home)  As you can imagine, not a lot of the elderly residents receive gifts over the holidays.  I have made a personal commitment to work to sell (#) of gift sets to present to each and every resident.  The gifts retail for just $28, and would be considered a tax deduction for your business!  I dont want any resident to be left out.  Id love to work with you to be part of the contributing sponsors and am wondering if there is any reason you wouldnt consider participating.

Id be happy to drop on by to your office for payment, and for you to see the gift and sign the card OR you may wish to join me there to help present the gifts.

Payment:  I could stop by your office for payment by cash, check, or charge.  I have also been taking credit cards over the phone, which businesses have found most convenient.
