Drop the CLUB... |
DROP THE CLUB Every woman carries a club that she beats herself with. She's either too fat, or too short, or too dumb or too passive or too... She takes her club and tells herself that she's not good enough. For example: if a woman has straight hair, she spends $80+ every other month or so at the salon to get a perm. If a woman has curly hair, she spends $80 every other month to get it relaxed. Your hair is just fine! Drop the club. Remember that this sharp lady has a club too! And because she is NOT in Mary Kay, her club may be much larger than yours. Focus on your greatness and give her a compliment. You have just lightened her club and you may have a new client as the side effect or new teammate too! You work 120% at your job to be the best employee in the world, But when it comes to your own dreams, you let the doubts into your mind. and then to top it off, you feel guilty that you are not doing more with Mary Kay. (sound familiar?) Drop this club! Beating yourself up for not doing more only adds to the pain. The solution is to find the one element that will excite you into action. Don't look for the element externally, it is always hiding within. Clean out the clutter from your mind and find the miracle inside. Say - "I own my own business. I develop people." Find other women that would like to be in the People Developing business and let's build your business today! but which, if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you." |
